Lead growth and marketing for a European Pay Equity SaaS leader

Driven by the upcoming EU Pay Transparency Directive, Pihr is entering a pivotal growth phase with a rapidly expanding market and a unique opportunity to scale across Europe. Backed by Monterro, the leading Nordic B2B software growth investor, Pihr is now entering its next phase of growth.
We are now looking for an Interim Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to take full ownership of marketing and play a pivotal role in strengthening Pihr’s brand positioning, demand generation, and revenue impact across Europe
The role
This is a rare opportunity to join Pihr at a pivotal regulatory and commercial inflection point. As a interim CMO (12 months +), you will refine and execute a clear, prioritized marketing strategy aligned with Pihr’s European expansion and long-term growth ambitions. You will lead the development of a structured, data-driven, international B2B SaaS marketing function with full accountability for brand positioning, demand generation, communications, and go-to-market execution.
You will be an active member of the Management Team, working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure marketing directly contributes to pipeline growth, ARR acceleration, and Pihr’s long-term target of 100m+ ARR.
What you will do
Refine and execute a clear marketing strategy aligned with Pihr’s European growth ambitions
Take end-to-end ownership of demand generation and pipeline growth across digital channels and partner networks
Own Pihr’s brand positioning and messaging, strengthening its authority in pay equity and compliance under the EU Pay Transparency Directive
Drive initiatives that increase market visibility, category leadership, and ARR growth across Europe
Implement structured marketing processes and KPIs (MQL/SQL conversion, CAC, pipeline contribution, ROI) to improve predictability and commercial impact
Optimize the full funnel across targeting, messaging, automation, nurturing flows, and sales enablement.
Lead and scale the marketing team into a high-performing, data-driven international function
Strengthen thought leadership and content aligned with regulatory developments and evolving customer needs
Build scalable marketing programs to support international expansion
Who you are
We are looking for a commercially driven, structured, and hands-on marketing leader with a strong growth mindset.
10+ years of senior marketing leadership experience within B2B SaaS
Proven track record of scaling marketing functions and building high-performing, data-driven teams
Hands on experience from demand generation, marketing automation, lead-to-deal processes, and digital marketing across European markets
Experience implementing structured marketing processes, attribution models, and KPI frameworks
A strong commercial mindset and close collaboration with complex B2B sales organizations
Experience from regulated environments (HR tech, fintech, regtech, or compliance-driven SaaS is a plus)
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English and Swedish
Ability to work regularly from the Stockholm HQ
