About us
Founded in 2012, Monterro is the leading B2B software investor in the Nordics, with a mission to turn Nordic SaaS companies into market leaders. Leveraging deep operational experience from successfully developing and running high-growth companies, Monterro actively supports its portfolio companies in every aspect of growth.
Today, Monterro has over €3.1 billion under management, has completed more than 35 platform investments, executed over 50 add-on acquisitions, and made 8 divestments with total exit values exceeding €1.5 billion. A substantial share of the fund’s capital (+10%) comes from Monterro’s founders and employees, with the remainder from world-renowned institutional investors across the globe.
Monterro is recognized as one of Europe’s best-performing private equity funds in recent years. The firm employs 65+ professionals across Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Hanoi. The team is organized into three main functions: Growth Excellence (~40 FTEs), Transactions (~15 FTEs), and Legal/Finance/Admin (~10 FTEs).
The Growth Excellence team drives strategic and operational development of portfolio companies, while the Transaction team leads platform investments, add-on acquisitions, and exits. This unique setup in the Nordic region enables Monterro to efficiently evaluate investment opportunities while providing hands-on support to its portfolio.
As part of its ambitious growth plans, Monterro is strengthening its Danish office and seeking a driven, top-performing investment professional to join the transaction team, contributing significantly to Monterro’s investment activities in the Danish market.
