We're now looking to hire a CTO!

In this role, you are to establish and lead state-of-the-art SaaS solution development and own the development of the R&D strategy. You’ll assume full responsibility for an ambitious technical team based in Sweden, gearing up to grow internationally.

Your responsibilities

• Owning the company's overall technological vision and strategy, aligning it with Planacy’s business objectives.

• Overseeing product development and cooperates closely with product management to ensure products meet customer needs while exploring new technologies and trends.

• Taking hands-on ownership of the entire technological infrastructure, systems, and processes while making sure they are scalable to support increasing user demand. 

• Making sure we have the appropriate technology stack based on evaluation of different technologies, frameworks, and platforms to determine the best fit for the company

• Ensuring robust security and quality measures to underpin Planacy’s overall compliance policy and cloud operations.

• Building and leading a senior technology team (currently 5 FTE), attract top talent, and create opportunities for professional growth for talents in the technology team.

• Technical lead in possible M&A processes – as well as post-merger activities such as integration, migration, sunsetting, etc.

• Lead the continued internal productivity efforts with regards to AI and DevOps

Who we’re looking for

• Min. 10 years of full stack experience, focusing on the relevant stack (ideally backend-leaning):
  • Angular
  • .NET Core
  • Microsoft SQL Server

• Leadership experience in a technical setting – including prioritizing, planning, supporting and following up

• Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating analytical as well as creative thinking

• Experience from companies with AI in their offering

• Proven experience as successful and appreciated leader, also managing distributed and/or outsourced individuals

• Experience from SaaS start-ups or scale-ups

• Experience from M&A processes

• Master’s degree in computer science, ITC or similar

• Fully fluent in Swedish and English, verbal and written

• Inspiring, proactive and solution oriented

• Down to earth and high integrity
